First off - chunks of this letter are copy/pasted from my rarepairs letter, which is itself a lot copy/pasted from my chocolatier letter. I’m lazy and signing up for too many of these. XD Anyway - thank you for writing for me! I am sure no matter what you decide to go with, I will love it! The contents of this letter are merely a guideline/suggestions that you are under no pressure to really adhere to beyond my DNWs. :)

Burtonverse Batman

Selina Kyle/Bruce Wayne -

BatCat is honestly my oldest OTP and this version of them is one of the most formative for me. I would love anything set after Returns (I personally do not consider the Schumacher films to be the same canon, but I won’t be upset if you choose to include the events of those in your fic somehow) - I really love Selina’s arc in Returns so canon divergent set during that movie is not really a preference but wherever your inspiration takes you, go for it. Does Selina come back to Gotham years later? Do they run into each other somewhere else? Angst, sex, fluff, character introspection, relationship developing, all good for me. I love their struggles with duality and who they are and what side of things they’re on, how they cope with their own traumas.

DC’s Arrowverse
This is definitely a fandom where there’s a lot of AU and alternate reality potential, Elseworlds/multiverse theory. I’m very open to that prospect - except for anything Earth X/Nazi related (unless it’s just mentioning that event and the dopplegangers they faced).And I am absolutely here for Oliver Queen getting pegged and/or being a sub.

Kara Danvers/Laurel Lance/Oliver Queen -

I'm open for canon divergent aus or elseworlds/alternate realities, especially if you want to avoid the cheating baggage. I'm also down for that being explored and Oliver and Laurel trying again while also being totally enamored with Kara. Huge bonus points for some Kara and Laurel bonding time alone since we never got that in canon. I tend to go fluffier with this throuple, but I'm also open for them all kind of being open about their faults and angsting over past choices, chances lost. Maybe things are awkward at first or even messy and complicated. Whatever way you write it, I'm sure I’ll love it!

Laurel Lance/Oliver Queen -

Oh gosh this ship - it’s such a mess and Oliver is the worst but I still have ~feeeeeels~ especially with how soft Laurel can be around him. I am open to canon AUs, never cheated on her AUs, Elseworlds/other Earths - my only request is that the fic doesn’t dwell on Oliver’s infidelity much/infidelity doesn’t happen in the fic itself, please.

DC Extended Universe

I unapologetically and unironically love Snyder’s films and Ayer’s Suicide Squad (with a preference for the extended Skwad cut), so I definitely prefer characterizations/character arcs that seem more in line with those films, rather than JL. Also, Lois is the key. I love her, and I love stories that emphasize her importance/have other characters openly admire and love on her.

George “Digger” Harkness/Tatsu Yamashiro -

Underrated! I love everything about them tbh - the tol and the smol, the irreverent, asshole thief with supposedly no loyalties and the stoic, honorable warrior who is incredibly loyal to those she cares for or feels indebted to. I’m down for serious fic or more crack-y or humor based fic, but I am especially here for Digger being just completely smitten and his feelings getting more and more serious while Tatsu just has no clue what to make of him.

Diana/Victor Stone -

Oh man, this was the new dynamic that I was most interested in with JL - I loved Diana reaching out to Vic - Diana, who struggled herself with not cutting ties to humanity sometimes, and that was why her being the one to extend an offer to Vic worked. I’d love to see that similarity explored more, them being so different but relating to each other on that urge to withdraw, cut ties, turn away, even if for different reasons.

Chato Santana/Harleen Quinzel -

Every single interaction with these two in the movie were just screaming ‘this needs fanfic’ and there is not enough fic. From how touchy Harley gets with him, to his reactions on the roof when she’s getting away with Joker, the raw ugliness between them at the bar - it was a lot of little things but come on, there should be fic where Chato lights Harley’s cigarette with his pinky at least. I am totally open with them, but post-movie fic where Chato is alive has a nice ring to it.

Atlanna/Tom Curry -

I am so delighted that James Wan kept Atlanna alive and let her reunite with Tom at the end and would love, love, love to see something set after the movie and they’re together again and in a way are even more free together than they were before, with no fear of being discovered hanging over them. Or maybe something set during the couple of years she was with him before - their romance developing or a slice of family life with baby Arthur.

Arthur/Mera -

Actual children! I love them. I love the way they bicker with each other but there is a begrudging respect between them at the start that grows into a trust and fondness that becomes genuine affection and love. I am all for the warm and fuzzies with them or the wet and dirty - what’s Atlantean sex like? How long before there’s pegging? How kinky do these two get? I’m open! Also cuddling is A+.

Clark Kent/Lois Lane -

They are just so loving and respectful and kind to each other it kills me, it’s so sweet and good. Not that I don’t think it isn’t absolutely filthy sometimes - I mean look at the bathroom scene in BvS. They are wholesome and super sexual and I love it. I am honestly game for pretty much anything, especially post-JL fic where they are engaged or married - or maybe it’s the wedding itself!

Amanda Waller/Waylon Jones -

Listen, I still laugh every time I watched the movie and Waylon goes, “I like her,” while Harley and Boomer give him looks of disgust. Give me Waylon making comments whenever Waller comes around, Waller using his thing for her to her advantage, or maybe go for something deeper - a meeting between two worlds, the hardened government agent who does awful things for the ‘greater good’ and the shunned ‘freak’ who does awful things because he was rejected and oppressed.

Blade (Movie Series)

In the Blade movie franchise, Jared Nomak, Karen Jenson, and Blade are my absolute favorites, so fic focusing on them or including them (even if it’s about another pairing, like if it’s Nomak/Abigail but includes Blade and/or Karen), is what I am here for. Sadly, there isn’t enough fic that centers around these characters, imo. I love AU scenarios where Nomak (and maybe Nyssa, even if it’s not a Nomak/Nyssa fic) lives and winds up becoming an ally to Blade and the Nightstalkers. Maybe it’s a little crack-ish, but it’s fun. And Guillermo Del Toro did say Nomak was, for him, the secondary hero of the story. Since this is the land of fanfiction and not movie canon where Nomak be a tragic anti-villain that dies in the end, I say ignore that ending, let him live.

Jared Nomak/Abigail Whistler -

It started as joking around and now I’m in too deep. I love ideas where maybe Nomak joins with the Nightstalkers to help fight vampires because he’s still so bitter and just can’t stay around his father’s old stronghold/be around his sister if she lives, but he and Blade aren’t able to really work together either, so he’s paired up with Abby’s team. Does she keep an extra eye on him, not able to let her guard down? How does he cope being part of a team but not really being accepted? Or does she let him in, trying as best she can, maybe even able to relate to him about being the second child and the one your father keeps hidden? I’d love some slow burn with some pining on Nomak’s part, a longing to fit in and be accepted but also a difficulty to accept it as a possibility, but really, I’m not too picky.

Nyssa Damaskinos/Jared Nomak -

While not as creepily incesteous as another inhuman brother/sister pair where the brother is played by Luke Goss in a movie directed by Guillermo Del Toro, there are little crumbs in there that fascinate me - when they first come face to face, when Nomak watches as Blade lets Nyssa feed on him to regain her strength, how as soon as she discovers their bond and their father’s lies about it, she turns on her father to aid her brother, and of course his line, ‘You were his favorite’ before biting her. There definitely, to me, seems to be both a fascination and a resentment towards Nyssa on Nomak’s part, and Nyssa herself once she learns the truth of him feels sympathy, acknowledging their kinship easily. I’d love fic that maybe just explores Nomak’s complicated feelings about Nyssa during the movie, or something canon divergent where they get more of a chance to interact, or perhaps something where he doesn’t bite her and together they will rebuild the House of Damaskinos and make it something different and new, to spite their father. I like the idea of them coming to an understanding, of Nyssa siding with her brother against Blade, because while she and Blade may have formed a bond and a begrudging respect for one another, he has been her enemy for so long and Nomak is a victim of their father and also her only blood left. Does she know Nomak’s feelings are not entirely brotherly? Does she feel the same or just indulge him out of pity? Does he keep a physical distance from her in this future, where he’s satisfied with killing his father and makes peace with his sister, because he knows the idea of her being turned into a reaper repulses her? I’d love to see whatever you might come up with for them.

Blade (Eric Brooks)/Karen Jenson -

My biggest issue with Blade 2 is that it kind of went out of its way to erase Karen while bringing in some of the tricks she introduced Blade to (something that carried over into Trinity but that movie had a slew of issues for me). I love, love, love Karen and the bond she and Blade develop in the first movie and the idea of her helping him to continue while also maybe working on a cure. What if it was Karen that really started the nightstalkers network? What if, in the ending where Blade is cured, he tracks her down? Where do they go from there? Or maybe Karen is there with him during the events of Blade 2, or maybe she’s heading up the team that saves Blade after Whistler is killed again. I love the tension and respect that forms between them, and that Karen doesn’t take his shit, that Blade comes to realize she has some bite to her, that they save each other. If you want to explore their dynamic in a more introspective way, or maybe get some of that unresolved sexual tension resolved, stick close to canon or go canon divergent, I’m game!

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Michelle Jones/Peter Parker -

I freaking love Michelle and I love how much she is crushing on Peter and is so annoyed by it she keeps pretending she’s super cool and aloof and uninterested but she’s so adorably into Peter, and I love that Peter has a type and it’s girls who are taller and cooler than him. These kids are just adorable and I want them to smush faces.

Wanda Maximoff/Ultron -

Honestly, AoU was a mess but I genuinely love Ultron and his dynamic with the Maximoff twins, especially Wanda - even at the end, after she and Pietro sided against him, concerned for her safety. The way he pleads with them not to turn on him, his fascination with and appreciation for her mental powers, even knowing in a way she helped lead to his creation. Wanda being skeptical, guarded, because of course she is, she and her brother have to be, but she wants so badly to believe in what Ultron is doing - how excited she is when she can sense his mind in the body that would become Vision/ I’m here for canon divergent AUs, or some kind of AO where he comes back, maybe something set after Endgame. I’m a-okay with dark!Wanda fic, too.

Helen Cho/Ultron -

Helen Cho should have become a regular in the mcu, and I am forever bitter about it. I like that Ultron immediately recognizes her and realizes how useful and smart she is, and that she keeps a level head around him, even when brought out of the scepter’s sway over her. I’m open to however you’d like to explore this dynamic.

Loki/Sif -

First off - I am a total slut for arranged marriage or tricked into marriage with these two. I also like any canon divergent, total AU, slow burn, bickering and not admitting feelings and just being emotionally constipated over each other, and extremely kinky fic.

Jane Foster/Thor -

I love this pairing and am so sad we never really got it, it was always almost and then it was over and I miss them and will take pretty much anything.

Carol Danvers/Nick Fury -

They just had really cute and fun chemistry - I love how different Fury is with Carol, and that she’s seen a side of him hardly anyone else has. I’d love for her to find out what the others’ impression of him is, and if she shatters that perception or lets it be and teases him in private. If you want to set this during Captain Marvel, canon divergent, or maybe ‘this could be canon you can’t prove it’s not’ where she does come back every so often to check in, or he calls her but then the Avengers handle it before she gets there, or it’s something set after Endgame, these are all ideas I’d be interested in.

Nakia/T’Challa -

He froze! Like an antelope in headlights! My heart! I love these two, I love Nakia, I love that even though during the events of Black Panther they are no longer together, there is still so much love and caring and kindness between them. I love that they can still work together and alongside each other. I’d love fic that explores their previous attempt at a relationship, what went wrong, maybe some angst (but with the hope and promise of another chance for them), or something set after BP, where they’re trying again, where T’Challa is listening to her counsel, where she is set to become queen but allowed the freedom to do the work that she loves. I love the idea of them as a royal couple that loves their country and their people and that is why they cannot hold to some of the old traditions any longer, I just love the idea of them being a trailblazer couple, working for the betterment of others, not just in their own country, but for the world, that they become known for their compassion.

Skinwalkers

This is a super obscure fandom, so I’m not expecting anything for it but will love you forever if you go for it! It’s one of those movies that, I hate many of the choices and know it’s not good, but I have such strong feelings about the characters that I can’t explain in this letter without it becoming an essay. But Sonja is the werewolf alpha queen bitch of my heart.

Sonja/Caleb Varek -

The OTP of this fandom. I love them. I’ve actually read some of the earlier scripts, which put more emphasis on this relationship, but I’d love to see fanfic that explores them within the canon of the movie and flesh them out. I love porn, angst, the two of them killing together as humans or as werewolves, I’m down for total AUs, canon divergent fics, pretty much anything. I am fine with mention of past Caleb/Rachel, but I’d rather it not be a major thing (unless it’s a canon divergent au set during/after the movie and mostly just referenced). Also, please no fic that indicates Sonja is a replacement/second choice.

Jonas Varek/Rachel Talbot -

Listen they raised Timothy together and yes the movie changed a lot and took away from their dynamic that was very rich in earlier scripts but there are still nuggets in the movie, and the way Elias Koteas has Jonas constantly look at Rachel with this quiet pining just does me in. I will take anything - fic set immediately after Caleb’s disappearance, sometime during Tim’s younger years, canon divergent aus, whatever, I’m down.

Sonja/Zo -

I have complicated feelings with this ship - so complicated feelings fic is a-okay with me for these two. I generally prefer this pairing in post-reveal of Tim’s parentage context, whether it’s a missing scene where they talk on their own or some kind of au where they live but Varek is cured maybe? For me it’s more about them bonding over the betrayal - we know Zo is interested in Sonja, but something that always stuck out to me was how Zo was backing Sonja up in the confrontation with Varek after they find out it’s his kid, at least until Varek pulls rank and snaps. I like the idea of Zo being there for Sonja and it weirding her out and her not wanting it, but taking it because she’s lost in a way that she hasn’t been for a long time.

Jonas Varek/Sonja -

I’m really looking for post-movie canon divergent AUs where they both live - this is a messy, messy pair that I only really see working in that context, and it’s definitely a bitter and resentful and ugly dynamic, but the possibilities are fascinating to me.

Underworld (Movie Series)

Lucian/Sonja -

Pre-Rise fic or canon divergent AUs would be great here - any rating is good for me. How did their secret affair start? Who made the first move? How long did it go on? Were there ever breaks, did they ever say ‘no we can’t anymore it’s too risky’? If so, how many times, how long did those periods last? What was the breaking point where they couldn’t resist anymore and needed each other again? How many crazy sex on a cliff positions have they tried? How crazy different would the world be if Sonja and their child had lived? These are important questions, and if you want to answer any of them, go right ahead!

Sleepy Hollow (TV)

Ichabod Crane/Abbie Mills -

All the fix-it fic, please. Kinky, hurt/comfort, angst, HEA, anything that takes the shattered pieces of my heart the show left me with and puts it back together. Also I really love the idea of pegging with these two. Or just quiet understanding, being with each other after a case, just having the other’s presence near helping them to decompress.

The Huntsman (Movies)

Eric the Huntsman/Snow White -

Anything. Everything. These two are so much to me. I love the quiet trust and affection that forms between them, I love that Eric is quite literally the first person Snow has been able to connect with in years due to her forced isolation, while Snow brings Eric out of his self-imposed emotional isolation and gives him a meaningful connection, someone and something to fight for and live for. I love that Eric offers Snow a more informal counsel that she wants and needs, while the way she treats him as more than just a drunken brute which in turn helps him to remember that isn’t all he is. There is such an intimacy, a comfortableness between them by the end that is everything to me. I’m very open to post-SWATH fic that ignores the psuedo-sequel, canon divergent AUs, total AUs, hurt/comfort, angst, pining, UST, resolved sexual tension, you name it.

Crossovers

Jared Nomak/Selene -

I love the idea of Blade/Underworld crossovers and somehow this crack crossover pairing came out from discussing the possibilities. I am super open to however you want to take this pairing, if you want to focus on exploring their similarities and differences - especially when it comes to their ancient vampiric dickhead fathers - and developing a relationship, or if it’s something set after they’ve already met, if it’s just sex, if it’s them taking out enemies together, whatever you come up with!

Shuri/Victor Stone -

I just find the idea of them really cute, with potentially a very rocky beginning, considering Shuri’s curiosity and frankness meeting Vic’s resentment and sensitivity over what he’s been turned into against his well.

Diana Prince/Steve Rogers -

I really love the idea of these two - meeting in the past but becoming something in the present, despite the difference in age and background, I like their earnest, ‘defend the innocent/stop the oppressors’ mentality of their early years becoming something tired and jaded in the present day but they can’t fully bow out. I’m up for anything tbh, but especially here for AUs that ignore Endgame.

Kara Danvers/Lex Luthor Jr. -

An ugly, awful pairing that I just find so disturbingly intriguing. There’s something about this Kara and this Lex that I find to be a really explosive and messy mix. This is a pairing I would love some dirty fic for - maybe some Dom/sub undertones, overtones - or maybe it’s all in Lex’s head? I’m interested in reading either or both, tbh. Maybe some kind of alien dust makes them do it, how do they react afterwards if so? Is it AU where Clark doesn’t die but maybe almost does? Is it talking to Lex in prison, angry at what he did that becomes something else? Or maybe it’s post-JL and through some political strings and Waller’s machinations, Lex winds up pardoned/exonerated and working as a liason to the League, which Kara is now part of - or maybe with the DEO, to keep tabs on that for Waller, something I could see Lex resenting while also being stuck around Kara, who resents him. Hate-sex, pegging, sex pollen, guilty sex, it’s all in their head, any of that is good - but I would also be happy to read just interactions, maybe nothing even happens, but there’s something ugly and raw there that neither one wants or is proud of. I am also ok if with mentioned or implied one-sided Lex/Clark, because I find Lex’s feelings towards Clark to be very complicated and layered and absolutely believe there’s a sexual dynamic to it, too, and for him to just kind of, feel similarly to both Kryptonians. Also fine with me - if you keep Lena as an existing character. Honestly, I’m open and fic-hungry.
