First off - thank you for writing for me! I am sure no matter what you decide to go with, I will love it! Secondly, chunks of this letter are copy/pasted from previous letters. I’m lazy and signing up for too many of these. I also have a general Likes/Do No Wants post, if you would prefer to just give that a look instead of reading my thoughts and possible prompts included in this one. The contents of this letter are merely a guideline/suggestions that you are under no pressure to really adhere to beyond my DNWs. :)

If, however, you are interested in said guidelines/suggestions, read on!

The Evil Within -

Honestly, I love this game. I can’t say the same for the sequel, so I am ambivalent if you include anything established in the second one - if you want to count is as canon for your fic, that’s fine! If you want to ignore its existence for you fic, also good!

 

Sebastian Castellanos/Ruben “Ruvik” Victoriano

Oh man, what a creepy and insidious ship. I love it. This is definitely a ship where if you skirt with the harder side of dub-con I am okay with that? The nature of this pairing definitely leans into that, so murky consent lines are fine. Feel free to play with how dark and manipulative it can be! I always liked that Ruvik seemed to be trying to get Sebastian to see his point of view? There was a strange attempt at getting...empathy? From Seb? Never sympathy or pity, but I do think he wanted Sebastian to understand him in a weird way. How much into Sebastian’s mind could Ruvik see? Did Ruvik know Seb had lost someone he loved to fire too? Also - the enemy of my enemy is still my enemy but maybe we have to team up to take down the bigger enemy fic is more than welcome! I’m good with stuff set in the first game or afterwards, but I’d rather not any mundane AUs or AUs that take away the horror elements of this fandom and pairing.

 

Swamp Thing - 

GONE TOO SOON never over it. Ever. This show was such a delightful southern gothic monster romance comic horror craziness, and I loved it. I really liked the atmosphere of the show and Abby’s dynamic with Ale pre-Swamp Thing transformation and post-Swamp Thing transformation, as well as Susie Coyle and her dynamic with Abby and Alec/Swampy. So if you want to include her in your fic, please feel free to!

 

Abby Arcane/Alec Holland

 

 

The Mummy - 

Anck-su-namun and Meela Nais are underappreciated and deserve more love. I love Imhotep, but I am ultimately really here for Anck and Meela. Also? She/They did nothing wrong. Imhotep was the one that left to risk his life for more power when she/they just wanted to leave and then he tried to beg her into risking her life AGAIN. So if you choose to write something for this fandom and especially for this pairing, I’d rather either the story not vilify her choice or maybe just have her instead try to help him?

 

Anck-su-namun/Imhotep

This OTP has been in my shipper heart for twenty years now. Two decades of loving them, and my shipper heart is stranded in a barren wasteland when it comes to fic for them. So I will take pretty much anything that does not vilify Anck-su-namun, or make her need redemption to Imhotep or anything of that nature. I love canon divergent, pre-movies, post-movies, soulmate fic, reincarnation fic, whatever!

 

Alien vs. Predator -

 

Alexa “Lex” Woods/Scar

I’m sorry, what ending are you talking about? Scar didn’t die, and Lex left with him and the other Yautja. Okay, you don’t have to go that route, that’s just one potential road I’m a-okay with you taking if you write this pairing. But I very much love their dynamic when Scar is the ‘younger’ of the two and is totally having this weird crush on some tiny ooman woman. (Also in the novelization she referred to him as ‘Tiger’, like ‘Easy, Tiger’ and I think that’s adorable.)

 

No One Lives - 

While I have mixed feelings towards this movie, I absolutely love the character of Betty and her relationship with Driver as well as the potential dynamic with Emma? I’m good with pre-canon, post-canon, or canon divergent AUs!

 

Emma Ward/Betty

I love how these two women are so aware of each other even though they never directly interact. Emma doesn’t seem to have any bitterness towards Betty even though she knows about Betty and that Driver ‘loves’ her, and she’s aware that he has Emma captive. And Betty having a weird...jealousy and resentment towards Emma, perhaps knowing this could mean she’s in a dangerous position. So I’d love anything exploring their relationship more, whether it’s just brief interaction that doesn’t go against canon, or full on AU where they team up to take down Driver. Maybe Emma reaches through Betty’s complicated feelings? Maybe Betty cuts Emma lose because she’s been where Emma’s been but also because Emma is a threat?

 

Driver/Betty 

So messy and twisted but I dig it? I love Driver’s need for lima syndrome induced feelings, and Betty being fully aware of who and what he is and just, accepting her place in this crazy situation. I honestly loved that she made the decision on how she would die in the movie? Instead of letting Driver or these other people control her anymore. She saw death coming one way or another, and too soon, so she decided to go out on her own terms, so I am okay with pre-canon fic that doesn’t change that, but I also would love something AU as well where she doesn’t die, because while I thought it was a great character moment, I also didn’t want her gone.

 

Ready or Not - 

 

Daniel De Lomas/Grace De Lomas

I got so many messy feelings from these two that I did not want but could not ignore. From all his warnings and attempts to help her despite everything, her constantly trying to reach him, sensing that he was the weak link in that rich people cult, it’s just very, very messy, and I would love anything that further explored them.

 

Alex Do Lomas/Daniel De Lomas/Grace De Lomas

Give me twisted, messy AUs with these three or weird OT3 Bluebeard horror feels - I’m here for it.

 

Charity De Lomas/Daniel De Lomas

These two did not have too much but what little they did have left me very curious. Charity seemed to come from a lower class background similar to Grace but wound up being very different and taking to the truth very differently, and I would love to see any fic exploring their dynamic before the movie.

 

Skinwalkers - 

This is a super obscure fandom, so I’m not expecting anything for it but will love you forever if you go for it! It’s one of those movies that, I hate many of the choices and know it’s not good, but I have such strong feelings about the characters that I can’t explain in this letter without it becoming an essay. But Sonja is the werewolf alpha queen bitch of my heart. Also, I know the tag and some sites refer to him as Caleb and Varek separately, but the scripts and a few interviews refer to him as Caleb Varek, so that’s what I’ve always gone with.

 

Caleb Varek/Sonja/Zo/Grenier

Honestly poly biker werewolf pack is kind of hard for me to not be interested in. What more can I say?

 

Caleb Varek/Sonja & Zo & Grenier

I love these four and I want more of their relationship as a pack, whether it’s poly foursome or Varek/Sonja with Zo and Grenier as just their pack mates. Give me biker werewolf shenanigans! Other nights hunting people in rundown bars and highway pit stops, camping out in the woods, whatever, I’m good!

 

Sonja/Caleb Varek

The OTP of this fandom. I love them. I’ve actually read some of the earlier scripts, which put more emphasis on this relationship, but I’d love to see fanfic that explores them within the canon of the movie and flesh them out. I love porn, angst, the two of them killing together as humans or as werewolves, I’m down for total AUs, canon divergent fics, pretty much anything. I am fine with mention of past Caleb/Rachel, but I’d rather it not be a major thing (unless it’s a canon divergent au set during/after the movie and mostly just referenced). Also, please no fic that indicates Sonja is a replacement/second choice.

 

Grenier & Sonja

I love these two, and not just because apparently the actors were really close which came through in how they were often next to each other in scenes that involved the whole pack. I’d love some pack bonding with them, and Sonja with the hawk (Natassia Malthe, Sonja’s actress, really loved the hawk and even held her during an interview, so I thought originally she might have the hawk in the movie, lol). In the character sides and scripts it’s established that Grenier is mute by eating his own tongue (how he became one of the ‘bad wolves’) so I tend to go with that for movie canon, but I’m open to other headcanons for him since this isn’t confirmed in the movie itself.

 

Jonas Varek & Timothy Talbot

I have a lot of feelings about this dynamic - Timothy not just being Jonas’ nephew but also the one who could end the curse, having to sacrifice everyone else to keep him safe (even Jonas’ own daughter) - did he see Caleb in Tim’s face? Did he feel guilty for Caleb leaving and never coming back? Was that projected onto Tim at all? And then that moment in the movie where Tim almost reaches through Jonas when he’s transformed, and Jonas knowingly tasting blood in order to save Tim? A LOT of feelings! I read that there was an ending where Jonas was actually the last one to die, and even Rachel died, and had a moment with Tim - what if it’s Jonas that survives with Timothy after the blood moon? Or maybe something set before the movie? AU where it’s Jonas with Rachel and Tim at the end. I’m open!

 

Sonja & Zo

I have complicated feelings with this dynamic - so complicated feelings fic is a-okay with me for these two. There’s definitely tension between them - Zo either being genuinely interested in her or enjoying messing with her, and her not being there for it, but something that always stuck out to me was how Zo was backing Sonja up in the confrontation with Varek after they find out it’s his kid, at least until Varek pulls rank and snaps. So I like the idea of Zo being there for Sonja and it weirding her out and her not wanting it, but taking it because she’s lost in a way that she hasn’t been for a long time. Or maybe it’s pre-movie fic exploring their dynamic more in-depth, maybe establishing more of their tense relationship or maybe something that shows it isn’t always like that between them. (I am also okay with fic that explores them each resenting each other’s presence - especially in regards to their relationships with Varek. Whether that’s platonic or romantic on Zo’s end towards Varek is up to you, I’m okay with either.)

 

Sonja/Rachel Talbot

This is definitely a hate ship that I’ve gotten interested in more recently. I’m here for the aggressive, vicious, spiteful UST, for rough and angry hate!sex, for dub-con - au from the movie or set afterwards with Sonja having survived her injuries maybe?

 

Rachel Talbot & Timothy Talbot

I honestly felt the movie didn’t give us that much with these two, so I’d love fic that explores their dynamic - either before the movie, maybe something during, or even post-movie AU that has just those two survive.

 

Jonas Varek/Rachel Talbot

Listen they raised Timothy together and yes the movie changed a lot and took away from their dynamic that was very rich in earlier scripts but there are still nuggets in the movie, and the way Elias Koteas has Jonas constantly look at Rachel with this quiet pining just does me in. I will take anything - fic set immediately after Caleb’s disappearance, sometime during Tim’s younger years, canon divergent aus, whatever, I’m down.

 

Sonja/Katherine Varek

Oh, man, give me the dirtybadwrong femslash fic, full of anger and bitterness and resentment and maybe some fear on Katherine’s part. Dub-con is definitely something I could see and would enjoy with this pairing. I am a sucker for darker femslash, what can I say?

 

Trick ‘r Treat -

One of my favorite movies of all time and definitely my favorite Halloween movie, I love all the stories, I love how saturated it is with Halloween lore and all the traditions, I lovelovelove what they did with the werewolves, and I of course love that ancient holiday manifestation as a trickster imp, Sam. Your fic doesn’t have to focus solely on Halloween - especially if it focuses on the werewolves, I’d love to get glimpses into their life the other 364 days of the year - but don’t be shy to pack in all the Halloween goodness your heart desires if that’s where you decide to go!

 

Rhonda/Schrader

I have mixed feelings on this pairing, because even though he had sympathy for Rhonda and some guilt over what they’d done, Schrader still went through with the prank. But there is some cute potential and some creepy potential - maybe something set in a future Halloween, where Shrader (and the others) come back like the school bus massacre children, and maybe Rhonda interacts with them? I think it would be interesting if she had a perfect Halloween night with her now zombified friends and crush. Or maybe an AU where the kids don’t die or not all of them. I’m also okay with anything set before or during the movie that’s just POV fic.

 

Sam & The Werewolves

I loved that Sam showed up for the feeding! I wish they left in the little clip of him petting one that we saw in some BTS video. It was so creepily adorable? I also thought it was interesting that originally there was a scene where Laurie sees Sam watching her before she heads into the woods - so any fic that explores the dynamic between Sam and the werewolves, his knowledge of their habits and Halloween tradition, maybe they instinctively know there’s something to him, do they worship him? Or just feel a kinship? I’m open for however you want to explore it!

 

Rhonda & Sam

The Halloween loving outcast girl who obeys the rules and stays alive and the manifestation of her favorite holiday, and we just get a little passing by? I’m dying for more!

 

Laurie & Rhonda

I’m really open to however you want to take this. I just think it would be interesting to see Rhonda interact with one of the wolves, and Laurie to me stands out as the one who could have the most interesting interactions with Rhonda. If you want to include the other wolf girls though, feel free! I’d even love fic where Rhonda becomes a werewolf herself!

 

Danielle/Laurie

Ngl, I like creepy femslash and incest and this pairing checks off both boxes imo. Danielle being overprotective and Laurie being rebellious and wanting to find her own path. Maybe some creepy fluff with them, or Laurie being rebellious - especially after she’s had her first Halloween kill - and Danielle ‘asserting’ herself as the alpha female for potential prompts?

 

Janet/Maria

So obviously have at least fooled around. I’m good with casual friends/packmates with benefits or established girlfriends, however you want to take it, I’m good with.

 

Danielle/Janet

Something about their interactions made it feel like Janet and Danielle are at least packmates with benefits and are very close - especially with Janet “unzipping” Danielle’s skin? That’s love. I’d love to see their dynamic explored more.

 

Danielle/Janet/Laurie/Maria

I’m just here for poly werewolf packs, especially poly wlw werewolf packs.

This has happened at least once and no one can convince me otherwise.

 

Laurie/Maria

Maria’s “I’m glad you’re her first” line gave me weird and wonderful feelings about this pairing. Maria feels like the most confident and carefree and aggressive of the main four wolves, and juxtaposing that with Laurie sounds like a lot of fun, whether it’s the uninitiated Laurie before the movie, or Laurie after the events of that Halloween when she’s finally “had her first” and how that changes her.

 

Hellraiser -

 

Kirsty Cotton/Pinhead

Honestly, the twisted and dark Hades/Persephone of the horror movie genre. I love how resourceful and ruthless Kirsty can be, and how that keeps her out of Pinhead’s clutches for a little longer, but also ties her more to him? I am okay with fic that includes the third movie she was in (I think it was the seventh? In the franchise?), but I’m also okay with anything that ignores that or is an AU set before it. This is obviously a darker pairing, so some BDSM and sado/masochistic elements and dub-con is expected, but I’d prefer fic that doesn’t put too much of a heavy emphasis on the torture/the sadomasochistic side of things or gets very gory? Bloodplay is 100% okay with me though.

 

Crossovers - 

 

Rocky (Don’t Breathe)/Nancy Holbrook (A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010)

Final girls who survived child abuse and all sorts of horrors and trauma bonding is definitely a thing of mine, and these are two final girls who I adore, and I think there’s a lot of potential for fic focusing on them. I’m also open to fic that leans more towards platonic, if that’s what you’re more comfortable with.

 

Mia Allen (Evil Dead 2013)/Nancy Holbrook (ANOES2010)

I love final girls, I love these final girls, I love the idea of a remake based Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash, and I love the idea of these two damaged survivors bonding and finding a kinship with each other. I like the idea of them roadtripping and hitchhiking across the country, trying to avoid any deadites and find ways to keep Krueger out of Nancy’s dreams. Or maybe they settle down somewhere, far from both their homes, try to become new people who never dealt with vengeful ghosts in their dreams or actual demons possessing their bodies. Also, I am perfectly happy with asexual Nancy Holbrook, but it’s not a requirement (I go back and forth on that headcanon myself).

 

Nancy Holbrook (ANOES2010/Whitney Miller (Friday the 13th 2009)

Yeah, this ship kind of just came about because they’re the final girls from the F13 and NOES remakes, but I also genuinely could see a relationship forming between the two of them. I think Whitney could be a very nurturing presence for Nancy, and Nancy being very protective of Whitney in turn. I’m open to them meeting somehow after the events of their respective films or some kind of FvJ remake scenario, whether post-canon or canon divergent AU.

 

Ahmanet (The Mummy 2017)/Mina “Mirena” Murray (Dracula Untold)/Vlad Dracula (Dracula Untold)

In another universe, the Dark Universe started with Dracula Untold and Mina Murray was the archeologist working for Prodigeum and there was no Nick character, and I can get a creepy universal monster threesome with these characters. (Not saying this is what you have to go with if you wanna give this throuple a shot, but it is an optional prompt! :D)

This is a threesome that I would love to be messy and full of angry UST. I don’t have very clear thoughts on this dynamic, other than it would be complicated but potentially interesting? I definitely can see Kisa and Varek being very...similar but on different ends? Kisa becomes someone who is less violent and bloodthirsty, while Sonja and Varek seem much more indulgent and hedonistic? I think they would clash a lot, but I’d love to read their clashing.
